Thomas & Alice Ashter ~*~ Parents

As a landlord, Thomas never really understood how his son was not physically strong, how he could enjoy books more than manual labor. But his mother did and encouraged her youngest child to study, learn languages and later to work as a secretary to a small lord of the Warwickshire, their homeland. Robert loves them dearly and send them most of his money so they would never have to sell their house.

Victor & Mary Ashter ~*~ Brother and his Wife

Victor is the eldest. He took a lot from his father and works on his farmland just like their parents. He used to tease, jibe and sometimes even bully his youngest sibling but as they grew older and gained maturity, the two learned to respect each other. Still, he has not as much esteem for Robert than he has his other brother, since he value a man to his hard work and intellectual labor is not work in his mind.

Oliver & Catherine Ashter ~*~ Nephew and Niece

Oliver and Catherine are the two children of Victor and Mary. Roberts loves them and tries to send them presents for their birthday each year. They both adore hearing stories of the royal court, not caring if that is true or not since they would most certainly never see it with their own eyes. The two are restless little tykes who considers Robert as the uncle that sends them great toys but whom they rarely see.

James & Caroline Ashter ~*~ Brother and his Wife

James is Robert's second brother. He was involved in many fights around town in his younger years but settled down ever since he married and had a child. He is impressed of his younger brother's achievements even if he understand only half of his duties. He hates to see his brother lower himself so much in front of the nobles but there is little he can do.

Bridgett Ashter ~*~ Niece

Bridgett is James' daughter, the light of his life. He spoils his child and appreciates that Robert is willing to help him educate his daughter and have her raise above her current condition. Although for now, she doesn't really care. She is quite happy to be around his mother and father and nature.

Anne & Michael O'Donnell ~*~ Sister and her Husband

Anne is the only sister Robert has. She is a hard worker, like everyone in the family, but possesses also a softer side, which is shown through her love of music and her beautiful voice when she sings. She is the greatest cook and wishes to have a large family, something she could easily handle. She is a bit of a tyrant, but in a good way. She usually knows what is best for you and will work hard for you to understand it and follow her way.

Patrick O'Donnell ~*~ Nephew

Anne's little baby, recently born. Her dream of having a family starts with Patrick. Robert has yet seen his nephew but heard of the news and is more than happy for his sister.

Robert will forever be grateful to the Chancellor, who gave him his current position. He used to work for the man and respected him highly since day one. He still comes to him when he seeks advice. His wife Mary is like a mother to Robert. He simply cannot lie or hide anything to the woman.

Henry & Julianna Hanoever ~*~ King and Queen

Robert never imagined one second he would raise this high when he took his first work at the age of fifteen. Almost ten years later, he serves the king. He knows a lot of the monarch's secrets but would never betray his trust. Robert deals with the King's affairs, he writes his correspondence, read some of it, manages the budget for the royal couple, introduces ambassadors and takes notes at every council. His days are quite busy but it is all worth it for in return he is among the closest to the king.
