I likes to think of himself as a clever boy, a fair musician, a great swimmer, a good son, a future king.

I doesn't like to think of himself as someone childish, of small stature, physically weak, and short tempered.

Truth be told though, he is all of this.

Henry ~:~ Father

Nicholas wants to make his father proud of his son. He works hard to be the son, and future king, his father believes he can be. Although few words are spoken between the two, they love each other and know the other feels the same, most of the time. They have their scenes, Henry scolds Nicholas sometimes, but that is just how any father should act with such a restless young boy.

Julianna ~:~ Stepmother

Julianna is Henry's second wife. Nicholas likes her to a certain degree. He finds her very beautiful. he is aware of his father's love for her and how she loves him as well. Although he tries hard not to, he enjoys being around her since she can be amusing, spiritual and of good company. He simply is puzzled whether liking her would mean betray his mother or not.

Evelyn ~:~ Mother

Princess of Spain and first wife to Henry, Evelyn is Nicholas' mother. He always loved the woman who had a soothing effect on him. He feared her outburst toward his father's mistress and was devastated when he heard his parents would divorced. Now that she is dead, Nicholas tries to live on without his emotional support, wishing to be the young man she wanted him to be.

Andrew ~:~ Brother

Andrew was Nicholas' older brother. They shared everything together. Even if they sometimes get on each other's nerves, they loved each others and liked to play and study together. Physically taller and stronger, he always won their sword fighting and jousting challenges, but it never mattered for they were both rewarded by their mother with girdle-cakes. With him gone, Nicholas lost not just his brother but the only other child around the castle, a friend, and a confident.

Ariana ~:~ Cousin

Ariana isn't really related to Nicholas but he treats her like a cousin. He often runs away from his lessons to spend some time with her. She teaches him lessons on her own sometimes and he always prefers them coming from her mouth than his tutor's. She had become a confident of sort to him and he often comes to her when he has questions about the attitude to have toward a person or in a particular situation. She is the person he trusts the most.

Juliette ~:~ Betrothed

Nicholas couldn't avoid it. When you are of royal blood, you have responsibilities, including marrying someone you hardly ever saw and don't particularly like. The two simply don't get along and for one reason: they're too much alike! Maybe in a few years, when they would both have grown and matured would they accept to live together but for now, it is war between them.

This is one man Nicholas doesn't like much. Of course, no kid would appreciate the man that force you to sit calm and study history, politics, languages and so on. Still, Nicholas has respect for the man who used to teach his own father. And he can be nice... for an old man.[/center]

The Horses

This stallion is restless just like its master. Pascoe is five years old and fit for races more than long and calm rides. A horse of action, if that ever existed.

~~Shae~~

This is the first horse Nicholas ever received and mounted, at the age of 5. Now 9 years old, Shae is docile, affectionate and gentle.

~~Crimson~~

This is the young colt his mare had. A little birthday present from his father, having her give birth to a colt from one of the King's personal horses.
